my gsr swap not running
Ok, my gsr swap into my 91 DA isnt going so well. I put the motor in and hooked up everything i could except radiator and some of the valves neer the map sensor in the back on my firewall.
coult those things stop my motor from running or starting. i turn it over and its not goin. ne ideas?

yup
- i had gas, it was leaking for a while until we changed to old fuel pressure regulator.

are you getting spark and fuel to the motor?, check for CEL codes, the same thing happened to my friend in his DA with a GSR swap

it is turning over. for the fuel and spark thing. this is wut happened.
first it WAS gettin spark but No fuel. we changed pressure reg to original one and put my old ecu non vtec on and then it was getting fuel but no spark..
changed back to new ecu p28. and now fuel but no spark. i think it may be cam timing or something maybe the guy that put it on didnt line it up at tdc or something im sure he did though cuz i told him to double check. i will double check myself. only thing is now the motor is in the car. will be a pain in the *** lol. can it be anything else besides cam timing>?

very strange it sounds like an ignition problem, but nothing should stop you from getting fuel, do you have your resistor box for the injectors hooked up?

yea the resistor box is hooked up but wasnt screwed to the chassis, that may have helped provide fuel too, im not sure if it needed to be grounded. but ne way, it is grounded and i am getting fuel, for some reason no spart know, it sounds a bit strange when i turn it over. doesnt sound like its in the right order but i checked many times, 1342 is the order and when ur on the passanger side looking at dizzy the bottom left is the number 1 and it rotates clockwise. i also tried top left as # 1 cuz someone on here said that isnumber 1 but to no avail so i think maybe cams. i will have to check when i get home. wierd there is no spark now though.
