Easiest Way of Installing Side Markers???
Hey I got new front fenders for my civic and I want to replace the black door guard with a side marker light. Before I get them painted I want to know the easiest way of installing these. How big of hole do you need to cut and do you guys have any tips of cutting the hole?

I bought the Eurolite LED sidemarkers. They are 3 hi-intensity LEDs on a chrome base in a clear lense.
I did not like the look of them, so I bought some model paint and painted them clear amber. They are really nice now, and you don't have to cut them in...all you have to do is drill a 3/8" (or so) hole and they tape on with 3m tape. Easier install then traditional. I highly recomend you painting them amber though...

Is that the size of hole you had to make??
Is there any steps you have to take to make sure you make a clean cut without messing up the metal?

I suggest getting some OEM or replica OEM Honda sidemarkers, those look the best. Go to Radio Shack and get a metal nibbler tool, that makes it really easy to make the required rectangular hole. Also, not sure if you know or not, but the Civics in other countries outside the U.S. had the sidemarker up above the molding, not down where that little piece of molding is on the fender. Although where the molding goes would be the easiest place to install it. I installed mine in the OEM position on my Integra.
