Default 1/8 mile to 1/4 mile time estimates?

I have heard of a lot of people talkin about figuring out there 1/4 mile time based on their 1/8 mile time. What is the formula for converting a 1/8 mile time to a 1/4 mile time? Or is there a website that does that calculation for you?

Too many things vary ... the traction, top end ect.

If you have a rwd v8 most of the time you can hook hard out of the box but top end dies off hard.

Now in our case its complete opposite.

I get low low 7 second 1/8th's which isnt anthing to brag about in comperison to what a rwd v8 gets but I still pull 10's at 138 or so. I dunno if I helped at all haha but figured I would post.
