well all i ever did to my car so far was changing the DC header, catback,AEM Intake, and Filter,MSD Wire and a Stage3 Clutch...but i dont think these stuff would cause my emission to fail...but afer i fail it i paid the autoshop guy to find out what cause it...so he pluged some kind of stuff under my dash at the passager side to read the problem...he told me that there something wrong with my Heat Oxygen Sensor....

I have an OBX high flow cat that I never put on my GSR because it would require a custom weld to make it fit my car right. If you wanna try it, I'll give it to you for $20, it's just sitting on my floor and I wanna get rid of it. But do know, I tried to put it on myself and wasn't able to. You'd prolly have to take it to a muffler shop to fit it right.

Or you could do what I did and hollow out your stock cat. I removed mine and took the chisel and hammer to it, removed the filters and carbon blocked up in it, and bolted it back in. Now I essentially have a high flow in the form of a stock cat. But it still won't pass smog.... at least its a little faster.

I dont believe the OBX Hi Flow cat, is an actually cat. Most of them are "test pipes" Meaning they just a piece of pipe. So yes you would still fali emissons test with one.

You can pick one jump from a junk yard, or you can just buy a new one. Not too hard to install yourself.

get a stock cat for emission and then put a high flow cat on for performance after emissions.

Check will Acura if there was a recall. My '97 GSR had a recall and they would replace the catalytic converter.

The above statement is true, but you cannot buy catalytic converters from junkyards in CA. I dunno about MA. This is what I have been told.
