CATALYTIC CONVERTER
OK i got my 02 Sensor changed to ( BOSCH Universal ) but i still fail the state inspection...the guy at the garage place told me it might be my CATALYTIC CONVERTER because i been driving my car and the fuel dont really burn that good so it could clog up the CATALYTIC CONVERTER...so im wondering if anybody ever had this problem and maybe you can help me with any Info....
well all i ever did to my car so far was changing the DC header, catback,AEM Intake, and Filter,MSD Wire and a Stage3 Clutch...but i dont think these stuff would cause my emission to fail...but afer i fail it i paid the autoshop guy to find out what cause it...so he pluged some kind of stuff under my dash at the passager side to read the problem...he told me that there something wrong with my Heat Oxygen Sensor....
Thanx alot Deluzional's.....but says if i wanna upgraded now because i needed to replace it anyways...can i get a Hi-Flow or OBX cat?and wouldnt give me any problem for the emission test????

I have an OBX high flow cat that I never put on my GSR because it would require a custom weld to make it fit my car right. If you wanna try it, I'll give it to you for $20, it's just sitting on my floor and I wanna get rid of it. But do know, I tried to put it on myself and wasn't able to. You'd prolly have to take it to a muffler shop to fit it right.
Or you could do what I did and hollow out your stock cat. I removed mine and took the chisel and hammer to it, removed the filters and carbon blocked up in it, and bolted it back in. Now I essentially have a high flow in the form of a stock cat. But it still won't pass smog....
at least its a little faster.

If you want my OBX one though, email me: notmynamenemesis@hotmail.com. Just lemme know.
I dont believe the OBX Hi Flow cat, is an actually cat. Most of them are "test pipes" Meaning they just a piece of pipe. So yes you would still fali emissons test with one.
You can pick one jump from a junk yard, or you can just buy a new one. Not too hard to install yourself.

The above statement is true, but you cannot buy catalytic converters from junkyards in CA. I dunno about MA. This is what I have been told.
