does n e one have a write up on putting a 1st gen b16 in aa 1991 crx si
basically wat the title says made a thread b4 but didnt realy get the answers i was looking for. but mainly i just want to no wat wiring i will need to do.and wat will i have to get like axles shift linkage etc. and im pretty sure i do not need after market motor mounts for a 1st gen b16.n e help is welcome.thnx ahead of time
there is a hell of a lot of write ups if you search... try google. but to answer your questions:
the only wiring you need is the VTEC Solenoid, VTEC Oil Pressure Switch, 2nd Oxygen Sensor and Knock Sensor
axles:
the passenger side uses 90-93 integra,but the drivers side depends on what half-shaft you are using. 1st gen b16a's used 2 different shafts:
the sh3 shaft uses a custom drivers side or JDM SiR axle (usually y1 tranny)
the sk7 shaft uses a 90-93 integra drivers side axle (usually s1/j1 tranny)
shift linkage is custom from hasport, arizona race, or a few others. or you could cut and weld one from a da integra
ohhh and you DO need custom mounts, unless you want to try your luck on welding your own custom mounts and hoping they line up right.
