Default Winding noise coming from my transmission?

Hi everyone. I have a hydro B16a tranny and every since I got it it makes a loud winding noise (like if you go in reverse). I changed out the differential but that didn't do the trick. Could someone please help?

No... hardcore problems can occur from this.....

My d16z6 with a bad bearing fucked up my gears hardcore just recently.... No third gear, 2nd gear grinds and doesnt stay in gear, 4th gear moves violently.

I can to the conclusion that it was the bearing and its time for a new tranny

One of the mainshaft bearings in the transmission, most likely input shaft bearing but it could be any of them. Don't drive on it, because eventually the bearing explodes and destroys your tranny. This could be in a few weeks, or few months, it depends on how bad it is. I'd look into getting it replaced soon. It got louder and louder for me, and so I finally just broke down and did it myself.
