Just bought my prelude guys. Wondering what size speakers fit where on this car. Anyone know of a site of something that has this information? Crutchfield only states 6x9's for the rear. thanx

 

6x9" for the rear and 6.5" in the front

 

the 6.5"s in the front have to be very shallow or else you have to cut the cup out of the back.

 

What about mounting height? will the tweeters hit the grills? Can you put aftermarket tweeters where the stock ones go in the doors?

they would have to be pretty thin.

 

Ok, so ill use co-axials. Will the tweeters hit the grills? What does everyone have in their cars that fit that have like...92db sensitivity? Im looking at infinity reference and alpine SPS.

 

man, you can put tweeters where the stock ones go. u just have to modify the mount to fit the newer tweeters. i think the oem ones are .75", but i have 1" tweeters in my car.

 

Do the rears have to be 3" and under depth? The Alpines are slightly deeper.

no they don't that should be fine
