Cleaning IACV-searched

so im going to try and clean my iacv. ive looked for a write-up on it but i cant find one. can someone give me some pointers and what not? thanks a lot!

I believe all you need to do is pull it off the intake and use some brake wash or carb cleaner and a small wire brush to clean out the carbon build up on the screen.
