Default gsr clutch: axle nut

got the driver side axle nut out, passenger nut won't turn and starting to strip, any suggestions how to get off??

i tried heating it up with a torch, any suggestions? tips?

you need leverage or some type of impact gun.. ghetto but works use some type of pipe put it at the end of the breaker bar and loosen it, spray it with wd 40 also

i tried that but it's still tight, the bar is pretty much bent, no impact gun at the moment. im gonna heat it up for a few (5-8mins) and see what happens, the nut is strippin.

i did mine the ota day. gets a 3/4 breakbar and a 6 foot pool and stand on it.

yeh i have broke 2 snap-on 3/4 breaker bars on the same spinde nut consecutively. i just put a long steel pole over the breaker bar and turn it, either the breaker bar will break or you will get the nut off. good luck..

got it, wheel keeps spinnin so we lower with tires on ground, went with next size smaller and jumped on the bar, the nut twisted out. thanks for the help

What type of socket are you using? Don't use a 12 point, it will strip if it's really tight on there. Use a 6 point.

shift linkage wont come outout, how many quart of (5w30 oil?) goes back into the tranny?

I used Honda MTF in my trans-axle. I think it takes just under three (3) quarts. Fill it up until it just starts to run out of the fill hole. If you choose to fill through the speed sensor hole, just remove the fill plug and watch for the fluid to get up to it.
