INtake manifold ported and polished now whistles like crazy?!

INtake manifold ported and polished now whistles like crazy?!
i just put on my intake manifold and throttle body after being p&p'd. I notice this whistle around 3000rpm that will last for a few seconds then fade away. The guy who did the work told me if i change intakes it will make it less noticable. right now i have an aem short ram. should i go with a cold air? or will that make it louder

If you go cold air, don't get the AEM if you can't take the whistle. My AEM drove me nuts so I switched to comptech.
