What is the normal operating temperture the water is suppose to be at. My car has no stock guages and i just installed a autometer water temp guage. Guage reads from 100 to 250 degrees. Now the car has been idleing for about 5 minutes now and it has not went over 100 degrees. I am not sure if the guage works or not

Also what temperture is the fan suppose to turn on at?
