Default HELP ON A QUESTION !!!!! I NEED YOUR OPINION~

do you think i should sand my civic with wet sandpaper (the black thin kind)?...and spray paint it primer black.


andddd can i use regular spray can to do it?

if its just going to be primer you can use a scotchbrite pad to roughen up the surface, if you plan to repaint after the primer them wetsand the primer

there is no reason to primer a car unless you have sanded through to the metal or are coving plastic work (body filler), if you wanna paint your car just prime your body work area's or area's of bare metal, primering the whole car does nothing at all for it other than give you more work because you have to sand more, worry about more of the car looking like crap because you can't use a sanding block and gives opportunity for more pealback because you did'nt take the time to really prep the car right. don't prime the whole car, when people do this it brings the cars value down to $0 in my opinion. if you really insist on doing it, sand out your chips or blemishes with 320 grit (wet) and red scotchbrite the whatever does'nt need sanding
