Default 92 b16 teg Intermediate shaft problems

I've been having some serious problems with my intermediate shaft (drivers side between the axle and the trans) and my axle on that side. Whats been happening is the axle just wont stay in the half-shaft @ ALL! @ first we looked @ it and notices that the c-clip on the end of the axle was missing and thought thats why it wouldnt stay in but after we replaced it and 1/2hr of driving it came out again! Whats going on here? Is my shaft stripped from it coming out and driving? Someone please help.

Also I have a 92 Integra w/ a B16A jdm xs-i motor. What car do I order axles for? Maybe thats my problem seeing that I just ordered them for my 92?? Thats what I have in there now and what keeps coming out of the shaft. Please Help?

Thanks in Advance

on the jdm intermediate shaft you need to use a 86-89 teg driverside axle and a 90-93 teg passengerside axle. if you want to able to just use the 90-93 axles you can replace the jdm intermediate shaft with a usdm because the usdm one is a bit shorter

okay are you sure that nthis is correct for my 1992 integra? When I ndid my b16 swap I used my stock axles so thats obviously the problem right?

just use a usdm intermediate shaft with it then. of course from a DA integra. if you use any other year int. shaft. it would have to be the 86-89 integra axles.

yes if you used the jdm intermediate shaft with your usdm driverside axle its would cause a bind because on the xsi integras the driverside axle is short due to the longer intermediate shaft.

does your 90-93 axle bind? is so then it more than likely is the jdm b16 one

No actually it was coming out of the intermediate shaft, it wouldnt stay in. when i would turn left it would go back in but straight and right turns was loud, clunky and dangerous. Im guessing that my motor came with a jdm shaft and 2mo. after my swap i broke an axle and bought one for a 92 integra and its prob been like it ever since but now its just horrible so I went today and bought one for a 89 teg so well see if it work...anyone?

you might have a c-clip stuck in there from a previous axle

the c-clip not being installed right on the axle itself.

are you SURE you have the left and right sides on correctly...im not new to swaps but i still made the mistake of mixing the two..i had the pass side axle on the drivers side..it lasted almost half a day before it busted..

double check and make sure you dont have the pass side axle on the drivers side

drivers side= full groove

pass side= half groove

Yes we are sure the axles are in right. Someone else informed me of a bearing on the int. shaft, what about that? Also someone said something about my trans being on its way "out"....I am in so much confusion right now and just wanna be sent in someone of the right direction. So far this is whats up:

1. Installed a stage III Clutch/9lbs Flywheel
Installed Innovative Motor Mount Kit (60a)

2. Insane, violent shaking below 60kmh. (mostly below 3/4 throttle)

3. CHECKED and REPLACED BOTH axles.
