what job for automotive fab?
I have a decent amount of fab skills, ie good MIG skills, rudimentary TIG skills, awesome gas welding, and the only job I have ever actually been interested in is automotive fabrication. anybody here involved in welding for a race shop or otherwise involved in automotive fab? what is a good opportunity to seek to get my foot in the door? I am sick of working construction.
Descent question...sucks noone answered. I'd be interested to know how these SCCA World Challenge Teams hire guys for car design and fab, and what education is generally required or if there are other doorways that lead in.
