ground controls + stock struts??
Don't do it man. That was my mistake. You should get aftermarket struts if you're are gonna use ground control coilovers or any coilovers. It's hella bouncy wif the stock ones.

No they won't... tokico blue are a stock replacement, not a performance shock. For performance, get KYG AGX, Tokico Illlumina, or the best one is Koni Yellows.

ohh icic, what if i get GC's with the custom spring rates that the stock has, will that solve the problem of the bounciness??

Even if you get stock spring rate GCs (waste of money IMO) then it'd still be a crappy ride because the shocks are being compressed too much and bottoming out because of the lower ride height. Basically it'd handle like crap. But if you got stiff GCs with Koni Yellows then it'd handle awesome.
I am no expert, just letting you know what I know. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

GCs are very popular with Koni Yellows and people use Skunk2 coilovers, H&R Race springs, etc. I'd say something around 400lb front and 500lb rear if you want it stiff, but the Koni Yellows are adjustable on stiffness so you can get softer springs and adjust the shocks softer too if you don't want to dailydrive super stiff.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by FernEF »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

That's basically the same thing as stock shocks with Skunk2 coilovers which can be done and is fine but bottoming out is a problem and aftermarket performance shocks will really improve the handling too.

illuminas are so worth the extra money over blues. the lifetime warranty alone makes it worth it. the extra damping the illuminas have is going to work best with higher spring rates. and the quality of the blues just doesnt cut it from what ive seen from other ppl's experience. dont think "i dont need adjustability", consider the adjustability as an extra... most ppl dont bother changing the shock setting once theyve found what they like.
for less than $400 for a set of all 4 illuminas, you cant beat the value.
