i have a 93 honda civic hatch with a D15B7 and it had a bad head so i got a 97 civic head non vtec and put it on and the timing belt is to long and i cant figure out how to or what to do to fix it PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Use the timing belt for the head. The stock B7 one will be two teeth too long.

 

when i held them up to each other they were the same size some one else told me to use a different tensioner so all i have to do is get a 97 civic TB for a dx ?

 

If my knowledge serves me correctly, yes. The B7 belt is 106 teeth, and the Y7 belt is 104 teeth.
