I think itd look way cooler with other things in the engine bay having color too. Like more stuff in the s2k/ae86 engine bay.

The "black and white thing" is definantly cool, I do it from time to time with pictures I take, but when every picture has the same "effect" it isnt all that awesome, IMO....also i'd be weary if you are editing other peoples picture without their permission.... personally i'd be a little upset if someone took a shot of mine and edited it to their liking then posted it on a forum

it's called selective coloring and it's done in photoshop be duplicating a layer and then erasing out the part you want to be colored

You can also desaturate the photo, then use the history brush on the spots you want to be in color.
