i have a 89 honda crx hf what happens is when i am slowin down and lightly press down on the brakes my drivers side brakes make a knockng noise and you can feel it in the car it only happens when the brakes are pressed lightly but if you press the brakes hard 1-2 and hold it'll stop any one know wht could be causing this
brake pad material buildup on disc/drum. most likely, most common.
brake disc warped (usually misgiagnosed for above), somewhat common.
swollen/clogging brake line. totally likely.
worn or broken suspension/steering parts... very likely.
bad tires... totally possible.
basically could be anything, never know without looking at it and inspecting.

Jack it up and shake the whole wheel assembly, see if anything's loose. When mine did this, the wheel was loose. My lesson, always torque by hand, never trust an impact wrench.
