Default oil in intake runner #3

recently pulled my motor, pulled the head off the block, head has been sitting for a few days on the bench, pulled off the IM today, appears to be some oil in runner #3. not sure if I happened to sit the head/IM in a strange posititon and oil seeped in, or if its because of a problem. what would cause oil to be in the intake runner? compression across the board is shitty, which is part of the reason the head is pulled (building the bottom end is the other reason).

only thing I can think of is seals?

searched around a bit, only suspects seem to be PCV or ring problems. block only has 15K, pcv still sounds fine.

PCV can still spit some oil anyway. G'luck, hope it's not the valve seals or whatnot.
