those are 90-91 tails. they come with the darker border stock.

yes they only come on the 90-91, but will fit on your 88-89 crx. so go get some. well im guessing you have an 88-89 rex, right? you seemed pretty disappointed.

 

btw, that crx is nice from that angle but the exhaust is hella gay

Just get the all clears off ebay and paint them, if you need new tails. Its cheap as hell. Will come out like this:

 

Yeah those are just the stock 90-91 crx tail lights. My friend has an 89 crx and he was able to put those on his car with a lil messing with the wiring. but they definetly look better than the stock 88-89. good luck bro...

If you want just the black border or darker you could nightshade (black tailight paint) it slightly
I wouldn't recommend it as it looks ugly. But you could if it was what you wanted.

 

Look for something called nightshades spray paint for tail lights, tape your lights off and paint the dark areas on.

The exhaust is hella rice.
