Default Removing resonator box - how about the "intake control diaphragm"

Hi!

I have a short ram intake in my -95 vtec lude (H22A2). I'm going to pull out the resonator box inside the bumper just to get rid of it. There's however a hose connected to the intake mani and at the other end to something called the "intake control diaphragm" (helms manual). Now it's ofcourse already useless (short ram), but can I just pull it out and plug the line at the intake mani, or is something else required?

All input highly appreciated!

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by pengster &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">do exactly what you suggested for yourself.

pull it out, plug it up at the mani. you can leave the solenoid unplugged at the harness. i did, and there are no problems.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Botta bing botta boom. Make sure to cap the end well, other than that it's just wasted space and weight.
