I know winter is over but I'm curious to know what are the recommended tire sizes for winter. I have 15inch CRV steelies with some good snow/ice tires but I just found some old winter tires that are studded.
The size is 215\60R\15 and I'm wondering if they would fit the steelies? They are old but have been stored well and have no cracks in them.
What do you all think about using these for next winter?

They will fit okay without any rubbing problems, if you want to see exactly the amount it will put your speedo out play around with this, it won't be so much out :

Cool, I cant wait to try em out. Thanks for the info.
I might now even have the prelude by then.
Im thinking of getting an 04 S2000 but I'm still trying to decide car payment or no car payment.

I wouldn't use a tire that wide for snows, unless it was a MUCH heavier car. Narrower is better in snow/ice/slush.
I run 185/65-15's in the winter.

i agree with narrow, tall tires. i run 195/60/15's. they just fit with my neuspeed sport drop (1.7"f/1.5"r)

Well we are talking about a 5th gen prelude here.
I have 195/60/15's right now and they are snow/ice tires and they feel good. They would be fun to try them for a bit.
I don't even plan on driving whatever car I own at that time but just in case I'll have them to mess around with.
