pedals
so a while ago i got aftermarket pedals in hopes of getting better grip for the clutch, (everytime my shoes were wet teyd just slip of the pedal and expletive my shift). i bout cheap pedals cause i needed something that worked. The damn pedal wont stay on, its the kind with the hooks and the screws that keep them on. any suggestions.
throw them away. then remove the rubber from the pedals. There is a little rubber slip on cover.
go to homedepot and, I cant remember where, but get grip tape. they have the same material as skateboards, but I find that to be too grippy, its liek sand paper. they have this course grain rubber like tape which i bought and cut to the shapes of my pedals and peeled the paper off and stuck them on.

That works good, or don't buy Cheap pedals, sounds like you got ones from autozone almost.
I bought some momo pedals a long time back that you have to drill and mount to the pedal, I've been happy with them since.
Other then the price of 55$ lol..

So as the posted below you stated, return them and get grip tape. Are you looking for functionality or aesthetics?

That's good. Are you concerned more with grip or the ability to heel-toe easier? Or both? Grip tape is the cheapest and easiest from a pure grip standpoint. The higher end pedals are more geared toward heel-toeing.

i have similar ones. there ****. only the gas n brake pedal stayed on but the clutch one keeps getting loose. my shoelace keeps getting caught under the screw. so i finally ripped of the clutch pedal and replace it with the stock rubber one.

Hey, I just bought MOMO pedals as well (had to drill holes)....it was relatively easy to drill/install the clutch and brake pedals. However, the gas pedal was a pain. I still haven't figured it out yet. I couldn't take off the rubber part (i did for the clutch and brake pedals). Plus, how did u manage to drill the holes for the gas pedal; the back of the pedal is not flush....
Any help would be appreciated.....thanks!!
