Will a 99 civic DX ECU work with 98 b18b motor?

what up,


I'm about to swap a 98 b18b (ODB2) into my 99 civic DX hatchback (OBD2) But i wanted to know if my DX ecu will work temporary, and will it cause any problems?

Nope. Your DX ecu is DPFI and the b18 is mpfi with 4 injectors on the manifold.

It would run really lean and could damage it if you somehow got it to run. I wouldn't do it. Its probably not even possible anyway.

no your setup is not dpfi. dont listen to that guy.

i think you would get better responses in the right forum the 92-00 civic forum
