Alright guys I was planning on researching this a little later on because I was looking to get a CTR Steering wheel for my EK hatch (97 to be precise). But I found a great deal on one and I might be forced to buy it tomorrow not to miss the chance. i did some quick research but only found for sale wheels...

Now it comes with the steering colomn (without the ignition but i dont think i need it)
Its an SRS bag so my questions were will the ecu recognize the bag? Will the fact that im swaping a b18c (gsr) in the next month affect this changeover?

I know the colomn will fit no problem, Im just worried about the SRS! Is there anyway of knowing that the bag is still functional?

Sorry if its a noob question, its not like me but i really need the help!

if your car has had an airbag before I belive your model did... then yes it will recognize it... and work...

but if internally the airbag is messed up.... your SOL

 

Any way of knowing if the Airbag is messed up internally?
