REar caliper is too tight when it goes back on!
sup guys just did my rear brakes.....with the e brake off......and i compressed the piston with a large flathead and the caliper went on smoothly, but then when i tighten it , its very hard to spin the rotor by hand.....what am i doing wrong??? thanks
Also, did you put the tire on and pump the brakes at all? They gotta like work themselves back into position. cause this happened to me, well I could move the rotor but it was hard, I hit the brakes and they like opened up more.
Compress/turn the piston all the way in as far as it can go in. Then put the caliper on. There's always going to be resistance when you try and turn a rotor by hand. When you get in the car, pump the brakes a few times to get the pad seated onto the rotor.
