High RPM = No heat ???
Anytime I push my car, my heat stops working. Like when just having fun on Rt3 messin with other Hondas, I’ll push my car to red line. When I get off at my exit, or just bring it back down to 60, all of a sudden my heater blows out ice cold, and then my temp gauge starts to go WAY up... If I give it gas and leave it at like 2K after a few min, its blows out hot, and the needle comes racing down. What could be doing this??? Bad thermostat??
bleed ur system, jack the front of ur car up and while the engine is running add coolant
if this doesnt solve the prob i' dguess thermostat cause its a sign its gunna go out all together soon

Check and see if you're losing coolant, DO as said above, drain all your coolant and then after you fill it back up to the top of the radiator turn the car on and let it idle. Then as the engine sucks in more coolant add more, this will get any bubbles out. Also try taking your thermostat out, boil some water on the stove and stick it in it and make sure it opens. Also, get your car up to operating temp. while idling and see if the fan comes on; your thermostat should also open at this point. Unfortunately, If you're losing coolant you have to look further like a headgasket, The revving thing sounds like my LS i Had, if it started to overheat I could rev it to 2-2.5k and it would cool off. And it had a blown headgasket.
I had a cracked radiator when the exact same thing happened to me, I put a pressure tester to it and the bottom end of it exploded. I got a radiator off my buddy's parts car, 30 mins later, I have heat. =]

i'm pretty sure this thing has a blown head gasket, i have to relive the pressure in the cooling system everytime i shut of the car, or else i think coolant gets into my cylnders overnight, and wont start in the morning... maybe i'll get a new engine in this thing, i dont know
