Default What size is the n1? *searched*

I once bought an exhaust that i believed to be 60 mm and it ended up bein a larger than that and now im buying a new one... n1... and im just makin 100 percent sure... apexi n1 for a gsr is 2.36 all the way through? It doesnt flare from 60 to 70 mm like the evo2 right? Kind of in a debate with a friend about it... someone confirm that it is a 60 mm exhaust so he'll shut up

I always thought it was 2.36 all the way through... can anyone clarify this? Also, kinda off subject... but if i have a header with a 2.25 collector and a 2.36 exhaust.. should i get a 2.25 cat or 2.5? Or does it even matter?

the n1 is 2.36 (6omm) all the way through except for the part that mounts to the cat, i believe it 2inchs thats called a bottle neck. that can easily be fixed at a muffle shop. and i believe the exhaust TIP is 115mm. if you're going to get a cat, get 2.25 inchs. dont get 2.5, that doesnt make sense. your're going to restrict the flow

Since when does the bigger cat restrict more? That's just illogical, isn't the Japanese Type R cat 2.5 inches to match it's OEM 2.5 inch collector? If I'm wrong correct me. Unless you have a stock GSR header I'd get a 2.5, that's what I think.

2.25 > 2.25> 2.36 versus
2.25 > 2.5 > 2.36
