If a smooth idle (like stock) is the main concern (after good power), what set of aftermaket cams would you guys consider.

 

something that uses close to stock primary and secondary lobes such as
JUN3 or skunk2 stage 2. You'll make no power up to vtec then BAM lots of power.

 

Jun3's. They idle perfectly, and are capable of making outstanding power.

 

The Toda B's and C's will give you a rough idle, won't they?

 

From what I've heard, Jun 3s pack a lot of power, but have a nice stock-like idle.

 

Yes they will...how bad? Depending on tuning.

I drove a car with JunIII's...so nice. Idle and drivability was just about identical to my R. Very sweet and stealthy.

I heard IPS Mike's car with Toda C's and that **** sounds like a Harley at idle and spits black **** everywhere in pulses.
