If its the same civic you were trying to sell then check out anyone that recently looked at the car wanting to buy it. Sometimes theives will act as "pontential" buyers to get a closer look at the car and check your security/parts/etc. After they are done looking at the car they say they will be in touch or whatever but they are actually just waiting for you to leave it out in the open so they can swipe it.
Theives suck and I hope you find your car complete.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Hopefully you'll be able to get it back, or maybe replace it with something better.
theives!
I just got my EM1 back after having it stripped. I was close to selling it, but decided to rebuild it now that I have a garage. I hope that in the end, all thieves get what they deserve!

lo jack is easily disabled. plus its not put in a place where its hard to get at, installers will not spend 1-2 days putting it in a place where no thief can get to it.. why? because they need to put it in a place so they can get to it easily if you ever need to do a check up on the box... hence the installers will only spend 15-30 minutes installing it... this is from personal experience with 3 lo jacks on three different cars with 3 different installers....i forced the installers to tell me where they installed the box, then i moved it to my own more secure place... for example.. one put the box under my shifter console... hummm 4 screws and bam i found lo jack...
boot it or loose it.

I'm really sorry for your loss.
Seriously.
When I was 18 (18 years ago...damn) I walked out onto my front porch and noticed the light on in my car and then looked a little closer through the rain and noticed my door open. I immediatly started sprinting toward my car, and back then I played Center on my HS basketball team so I could run like a ************, well I caugt up to him and started beating the ***** out of him. This went on till he stabbed me in the forearm with the screwdriver he used to break into my car with and his friend that was waiting for him down the street tried to run me over. So there I stood bleeding in the rain, only in my boxers, and those mother ******* got nothing. He didn't get my car, he didn't get my stereo, all that he got was an *** whippin'.
***** thieves and those who buy thier stolen ****.
