I guess Camel team got their front chatter sorted. Damn! I wanted Rossi to enter w/some problems so we can watch a closer race.
And Pedrosa is a machine! He's relently and methodical.. kinda reminds you of a young Rossi no?

I've seen Vale come up from way in the back to finish podium more than a couple of times. No, it won't be a tight race. And if it is, it's just because he's lowering his pace.

You forgot to mention that Both sessions were on a Wet Track!!
I dont think Rossi will have it Easy, He MAY win but I bet he wont pull away alone!
BTW.. Check out Nakano, Only 3 tenths off Rossi and he was breaking in a Engine for the sessions today!

Actually Rossi has said more than once that it is a strategy thing. He says he is not able to push 100% the entire race so he tries to run a pace, and turns it up at the end when it counts. I think his strategy is why he doesn't crash a lot. He runs a pace, conserves his tires, studies the other riders, then rides on the edge for as long as he needs to in order to win.
In free practices sometimes you won't see him at the top of the sheets because he spends most of his time working on race setup rather than qualifying setup. This may be at play with some of the other big players on the grid.
I think Rossi will be stronger than ever this year but I see maybe 2 big challenges to him:
1. The rise of Bridgestone (with Ducati leading the way)
2. Dani Pedrosa (and possibly Hayden and Melandri once they get the 06 RCV sorted out)

yea thats kinda what i was saying. he dices it up in the front with everyone else for the first 10-15 laps and then when it gets to like the last 5 he just turns it up another notch. not only that but he is conserving his equipment while all the other guys are burning their **** up trying to run from him. next thing you know they dont have any grip left and he is passing them wherever he see fit.

Its fairly easy to change you mind when they offer 8 mil a year.
