Default exhaust too laud !!!

can any one teach me a thing or two about sound deadening?
I have the Greddy Evo exhaust on my 6 gen accord and I couldn't stand the noise. It's simply to loud for me.

My question is, which part of the car should I put those insulating material in. (door panel? trunk? under the car? inside bumper?) Should I fill the whole space up or just a sheet or two of the material is enough? Any other help is much appreciated.

By the way, I know Greddy doesn't make a silencer for its exhaust system. Do u think silencers of other brands will fit my exhaust?

You can put 500 pounds of sound deadening material in your car and the exhaust is not going to get any quieter. I don't think other silencers will work on your Greddy either.
Sorry, I can't think of an easy/cheap fix.

Yep, Greddy EVO is really loud! Did you research this before you got it?

i'm not sure if this works but i have seen in the arospeed add about a product they make that is placed between the mid section and rear section i believe that is tunable for sound and performance...it opens and closes with a switch you put inside your car or something...but again...i don't know if it works!...try that!

I like the sound of my Greddy EVO on my 99 i4. I have DC 4-2-1 headers and AEM CAI to add to it and it has a real throaty and deep sound, not an annoyin weedwhacker noise. In fact, i hear the CAI over the exhaust. Just my 2 cents. Oh and i wanted to mention that my friend has the apexi N1 and it comes with a silencer.. its much quieter than the EVO if you keep the silencer on.
