Default Thunderbolt high flow cat any good?

I'm looking to get a highflow cat to mate up to my megan racing header (H23) and I saw these highflow cats for $45 shipped on ebay, The are a spun welded design and look like good quality, anyone had any experience with them?

i have the straight through one that's on ebay... it was about the same and it bolted right up.
really good for me since i don't have welding access...

Thats not a true high flow though. The straight through one you're talking about is just a test pipe - thats what I'm using.

if given a choice, I would go with a test pipe, or better yet, have a new collector welded at 2.5" or 3" (whatever your exhuast size is) flex pipe and one flange to bolt to the catback.....

That way the exhaust flow is as smooth a possible......

That is not a real catalytic converter, if you don't care about the environment you would be better off just putting a test pipe on.

what?! This IS a real catalytic converter. Look at the mesh in there! This is NOT a test pipe at all, if it were you could see right through it.
