well i don't have rims or skunk2's, but i do have ground controls and my car is slammed pretty low...i have yet to bottom out...i remember reading about the spring rates somewhere that skunk2 uses a lower spring rate than GC, but i could be wrong...also your rims could also play a part in that too...who knows...

I called SKunk2(group A) and the spring rate is higher(Stiffer) on the Skunks then the GC's,....did you have to cut the perch in the front???
My wheels don't hit,... its the Strut,..only in the fornt,..cuz Of Mcphearson,..its hots the frame and makes a nasty noise,...like riddin in a low rider Truck when you cut the bump stops out,..its hits the frame of the car on the inside,..the wheels don't hit anything and my car is kinda low in the front(real low in the back) and coilovers aren't even close to maxed out!
I was told I'd have top wait for an aftermarket Strut!!!!!??? NOT SURE!!!!

well i've read where people are cutting the perch, but i decided not to incase one day i'd like to go back to stock if i ever sell the car...i understand about the strut hitting, but the only thing i can think of is that your shocks are already wasted...other than that i'm clueless too...

Not sure,..my frinds car does it too,...had to see what everone else is going through!

I heard that because of the different spring rates on after market springs you should ALWAYS get an aftermarket strut along with it.

Well no need to worry bro, my car does the same thing, and I have the skunk2 coilovers and im on 17inch jdm rims. my car does the same thing. But my car is pretty low. The ride and handling of the car now is amazing. But I think my back shocks are out. I picked up my friends cuz while we were in cali and he is 250++ so we hit a bump on the freeway hard and ever since then when i hit a bump or some one rides in the back it feels weird. but in all im waiting for tokico shocks. well I still enjoy the ride real smooth and the handling is real good. well good luck .

Thank God me and my friend aren't the only ones going through this,...I lowered my car a little lower today and Haven't hit anything hard enough to hear that nasty noise,..the back is great though(old Teg stuff),...Koni said that their Struts won't be out for a while,...so whats the word on your end,..maybe KYB will have something out,...(I HATE Mcphearson Strut,.but otherwise,..I love the car and the handling so far)???

Either way,.i talked to Jackson and the supercharger wil be ready in August!!!!
* I WILL HAVE IT!!!!!*REJOICE,.........it will defeat ALL,.........2.0 will make a killin!!!!

Yeah the ride is great just if some one rides in the back seat it hits and makes a weird noise if i go over certain bumps. as for me im going turbo =] 2.0 turbo sounds pretty sweet to me. but as for the shocks for my car they are still not out yet. I called and asked when and how much but they still dont know. hopefully soon. at the time being im tryin to decide on getting either the jdm cam shafts or the toda cams. which would you guys go for? any opioions??? well thanx guys and good luck with your cars.

If the front of your RSX is bottoming out it's the steering rod arm that connects to the struts. If you cut the stock perch than you lowered the car far enough to where the arm hits the lip on the inside of the fender. That's not good and I believe that is why Ground Control did not have have cutting the perches in the directions for install of their coil-overs. I recommend raising the car up a little in front so that you don't end up needing the steering arms replaced after you either bend or snap them and wreck your car cuz you won't be able to turn.
