Default Gettin a teggy

Hey i'm selling my accord right now and looking into a 94/95 Acura Integra ls. Unless i can find a gsr for a good price. But i had a few questions. Is this engine soch or doch? How how does it go before red/line and how much could i get a turbo for and run about 8 lbs. of boost safely. Thanks I can't wait for my CAR!!!

I am tired of people wanting everything delivered to their feet.

We were all new once, yes.. but PUT IN YOUR TIME, do your homework... earn your way.

Two things you can do about me being nasty....

Nothing, and like it.

One thing I've learned with working with people (in my job) is that you must be patient, if I acted that way to every customer I've come across that asked questions like that, I'd proably be fired...

but yeah they are DOCH non-vtec somewhere around 120+ HP but I dont know much about the LS's

a turbo will run you $3000+ and if you pushing anything above 7-9 PSI you might want to get some new internals. agian, try the forced induction forum for more turbo info.

The ls is rated at 142 hp and it is a non vtec dohc engine, the gsr i beleive is rated at 170 hp and is a dohc vtec, the type r b18c-5 is rated at 185 hp and is a dohc vtec. You can't go wrong with getting an integra they are great cars.

The redline is higher than that, I don't really know the exact redline but I think it somewhere around 7800

yeah I'm gonna go with Krow, I thought it was higher than 68 too... cause my gauges arent GSR gauges and the red-line starts at 7500

and just a correction to krows post..the type R is 195 hp.

when you posted the higher number i thought i was wrong, cause well, most of the time you are correct, but then im like, wait a minute, ls/vtec really cant rev past 7500 because of the low LS redline, so i doubled check myself...but anyways this was probably the 1st time you were wrong in like what 5 years or so...

I drive an auto ls teg so I don't really pay attention to the rpm's that much. I must have confused it with the gsr. I need sleep I am not thinking straight right now
