How can I check how much rpm my 97 accord has?? I think I lost some rpm in my car..

You know those little numbers on the dash? In the circular thing? Those are RMPs. I guess he lost some.

But really, my best guess as to what is being asked it that the motor isn't reving as high as it used to. Probably a CEL or low oil...

i believe he read the thread about the f23 rev range, in that post it says that your stock tach could be off. so i'm guessing his question is.......how can he check to make sure it is accurate. if thats your question bud i would say have it dyno tested.

nah this post was posted before that one I belive. reguardless it is totally confusing because he has no idea what he is talking about.

 

Maybe he says rpm, but means hp? He wants to check his hp because he thinks he lost hp somewhere. That is my hypothesis.

 

well either way he should just have it dynoed to figure out what is messin up.

 

If he doesnt know the difference between rpm and hp, he wont know what a dyno is. How can he check something that he doesnt know is checkable when he is talking about something completely different. Get it?
