kinda side swiped my garage as i was turning to pull in. now there are scratches and brown marks from the wood. is there a way to get rid of it? the scratches dont look or feel too deep.

 

Well if its scratched through the paint your gonna have to DA them smooth, and respray the bumber. If its ony through the clear you'll only need to re clear the bumper. The pictures dont really do justice to be able to make a decision.

It doesn't look he can buff them out it definetly looks like its through the clear. And if you end up having to DA it down to the plastic you gotta prime it. But it doesnt look that bad.

 

Thats not bad at all I would get some compound and ruboff and see how much it gets rid of, if there some marks left I would wetsand and buff it before you start worrying about painting it.

Edit: if you can stick your fingernail in those straches then most likely it will need painted and such if not then it should rub/buff off
