Koni 1150 coilovers, anyone running them?
Just wanted to see if anyone on here is running the Koni 1150 coilovers

If so whats your opinion? What did you have on before?
I currently have KYB GR2's with Ground Control sleeve coilovers. I'm thinking about getting the Koni Yellow Sports with GC tophats. But for a few hundred more I can just get the 1150's.

What are you using them for? These are not as track-oriented as the Yellows, if you're looking for track/race suspension.
The 1150 kits are essentially a Sport shock with a threading system using a set of progressive Koni specced lowering springs. They were designed to give a wide range of lowered ride heights and improve the handling while still maintaining a reasonable street ride quality. I had that kit on my '98 civic and Grassroots Motorsports did an article about the kit back about 1999.
If it is primarily a street car that may get a bit of track or autocross use, this is a very good system. If it is a compeition car that you are wanting to run high spring rates on or use for cutting edge competition, this is not the kit for you. The spring rates are not really high, they are made to give a good all-around car package. If you want to get sucked into the neverending swirl of "what's the best springm rates?" with the expectation that big numbers are your answer, then go another route like a Koni Sport and Ground Control package as it will be easy to swap springs around to your heart's delight. if you want a good, sane all around package to buy once to make your car nice and livable then the 1150 is a good system.

Thanks for the info. Yeah the car is primarily my daily driver. I might take it out to the track or autocross maybe but twice a year. Just to see how it handles ones I'm done with the suspension. I'm currently in the process of redoing the whole suspension.
91 Integra LS
Here's the list of parts that I have so far for the suspension redo.
Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 Tires on 16" TE37's
Suspension Techniques sway bars
Funcion 7 LCA's
Benen RLTB
EM Racing: C-Pillar, RUSB, Trunk Wall Bar & RUSB to TWB triangulation bar.
94-up integra Trailing arms
Prothane trailing arm bushings
Prothane compensator bushings
Full Race Traction bar system
The only things that are currently on the car are the EMR bars and the KYB GR2's w/ GC's. The rest of the parts are going to go on it one big swap.
Here's the list of stuff that I still need to buy
FUSB (not sure on the brand, maybe neuspeed)
Energy Suspension Master Bushing Kit
Ingalls Ball Joint Camber Kit
Replace Lower Ball Joints
Replace Tie Rod ends
Ingalls Rear Camber Kit
Koni 1150's or Yellow Sports (to go on my GC's that have the standard spring rate)

I would not suggest that you do it. It has not been tested and almost every shock dimension is different between a DA and a DC and that is wny we make different Sport shocks for it. If you do it, you are on your own with no warranty. With good systems available from Ground Control where you can use a good Sport shock and have input on your spring rate, I would go that way.

Yeah that was my only concern was that the spring rates on the 1150's are designed for the vehicle that they are made for.
I'll probably just stick with getting the Koni Sports and GC tophats.
