Alrighty my friend have a 96 Civic Ex and when he starts the engine the car starts shaking alot but once u turn off the engine n restart it, it goes away and this was yesterday n this morning when he started his car to go school it happened again and it happened afterschool too when he was taking me home. Does anybody know what's wrong?

Also does anybody know where is the idle value on my friends car?

Oil in the car?

When's the last time he had a tune-up? Cap, rotor, wires.

 

yea his check engine light went on last night but I told him to reset it and it went away. The last time he had an oil change was about 2 - 4 month ago
