Default 92 si with a cx motor smogable ?

I have a quick question. I have a 92 si with a 93 cx motor and i have to get it smog. You think i can get it smog ? The cx motor is all stock with stock intake stock EVERYTHING. You think the smog tech's will realize that its not the right motor for it ? I will be getting a d16z6 later on but unforunately not now due to financial problems. Any info will be helpful.

It should. Just make sure all the emission stuff is "visibly hooked up" ie, no hanging vaccum hoses, etc... get old vaccum hoses and make it look stock.
