Default Goodbye B18C HELLO H22

I have had a lot of fun with my car, the GSR motor has yielded some quick track times but it is time to move on. This weekend will be interesting, I am putting a JDM h22 in my car; hopefully I get to run CMI. I will take some before and after shots. I know this post probably doesn't belong here but I thought I would share the joy with some of the fellow teg guys (and girls) out there. Wish me luck!!!

My friend has the complete swap- longblock, tranny, an extra head, type s cams, Hondata s200, obd1 conversion harness, axles (well 1 axle in good condition) the passenger side is busted, all the wiring needed, radiator with slim fan, hasport mounts for a dc2, shift linkage. Everything that I need!! I am looking forward to starting this afternoon.

I am going to pull my motor tonight with some help from my friends and we will do the swap on Saturday. I am giving my friend the GSR, he is going to sell it to his friend and I am paying him 2 g's for the H22a. Not a killer deal, but we are friends and I will be happy to pay it + I have got a lot of miles on the GSR motor.

Wish me luck!

no offense man, but it sounds like you're kind of getting worked on the deal. you can sell a complete gsr swap for close to 3k, not to mention you can sell all your misc. b series stuff that you won't need (mounts, shift linkage/stabilizer, axles, etc.) and make a few hundred more, then add the 2k that you are giving him on top of that. you can buy the jdm h22 with lsd tranny, mounts, shift cables, axles, ecu, everytyhing from hmotorsonline for about 3300 shipped to each his own, but you're def. getting worked on the deal. on a more positive note, h22>gsr

Well, its all good. I did some research on pricing and your are absolutely correct. I could have done it cheaper. JDM longbocks go for about 900 bucks. I am paying the extra for his because he is a friend of mine and we are both happy with the deal. No hard feelings either way, I just want to get it done!!! I am very excited about this swap too- I have seen a lot of crazy dyno numbers from b series motors but this swap has more potential for less money or close to the smae amount of money IMO.

not only that but the H22 motor comes full tuned on Hondata with hasport mounts, header, intake etc. All the little **** adds up.......Keep in mind LAN still has the full B drivetrain, shift linkage harness and ecu to sell later if he chooses to do so.

See ya tonight, I'l bring my digi as well
