Default The infamous Tech43 Motor F/S

Many of you may be aware of the problems I had with my build through Steve Taylor. Well the motor is done and I finally have it, but I have no use for it. My car now is a 97 4-door integra... automatic. I have no use for this motor but its sitting on my kitchen floor.

After an incident with another customer of Steve's where the thrust bearing was left out of a build, I brought my motor to a local machine shop and had it torn down and put back together again. Aside from a few bolts not being torqued to spec, I didnt have any problems. Its back together again and brand new.

So I put this motor on ebay like a month ago and the final bid came to $2700 after shipping. After dealing with a bunch of bullshit for a month the buyer flaked on me. So Im back at square one again. This motor is worth WAY more then $2700, but Ive decided to settle and deal with my loss. This motor is worked, no expense has been spared. The person who winds up with this is going to be very pleased with the money they saved and the power they are putting to the wheels.

Specs:

Originally b16 stroked to ~1.9 liters.
Arias Forged Pistons, 11.5:1 Compression. ($500)
Eagle h-beam rods. ($400)
Portflow valvetrain. ($300)
Portflow P&P head. ($1000)
Skunk2 Stage2 Cams. ($800)
New water pump. ($60)
New timing belt. ($140)
New Type-R Oil pump. ($120)
All new honda bearings ($100)

Thats $3420 in PARTS ALONE. Not including any of the labor it took to put it together and not including the original price of the motor itself.

Clearly this is a great deal.

If you want more pics or you want more info you can email me at kaptr1d@yahoo.com or you can IM me on AIM as doacapt.

who would ever want that motor dude. seriously! after the 14 page thread months ago that lasted over a year and you didn't even care and others did sooo much for you to even get you the motor. And now you could care less and just want to sell it. That is an insult directly to those who helped you.

DAmn GRANT!!! Sorry to see it to have to come to this. You probablly won't re-coup all your losses, but at least you'll be getting something back out of this whole shitty expereience.

To Steve. Good job you *** hat. You've all by yourself were able to destroy one mans ambition to build a great car. Not only does he want out of this due to you, but now he is also taking a major financial loss. I don't know how you sleep at night with this type of crap on your conscience, but if I were to take a wild guess, I would imagine it's because you don't have a conscience. I have spoken to A LOT of people who know you VERY well. And by their accounts, you're lucky to still be alive with all the **** you've donr to people. Keep sitting in front of your PC smiling as you read this, you're time will surely come cumstain.

Steve, you even had the odacity to ask me if I wanted to buy an AEM EMS off you for my S2000. Do you think i'm retarded? Kharma is a real bitch, and on that note so are you.

Grant, call me when you get a chance bud. And good luck with what eber you decide to do, you deserve it.

Bill

After the incident with Sheepeys motor I had the entire motor torn down and put back together again. None of the work is a la Steve Taylor anymore, so its not like theres anything wrong with it.

I would run the motor myself, but in an automatic 4 door? Plus, I got accepted to the police academy so I cant be out street racing nemore... I have enough fun with my f4i.

Steve may be an *******, but dont hate on me or my motor, I dont deserve any more ****.

Bump for you Grant.

In Grants defense, do you guys really think that after everything Grant has been through, he would pull some BS and sell someone a fuc*ed up motor? Do you really think he would do that knowing he was in the same shoes not too long ago? Use some sense.
