Inner tie-rod end replacement
For those who have replaced the inner-tie rod ends with aftermarket (oem replacement) units, what did you do about the crimped on retaining tabs that were on the stock ones but not the aftermarket?
I didnt even realize they were there until i took off the old ones, breaking the tabs in the process.
Im planning on using the strongest loc-tite i can find, but i just wanted to see what other people had done.

do you need a special tool to crimp the lock washer onto the tie-rod after its screwd into the steering rack piston?
. . . .i probably could have just pm'd you, i had a feeling you were going to be the only on to reply

For the record, im talking about no. 14 in the picture. slhondaparts sells the tie-rod lock washer seperately, so i hope my local dealer can too.
my question remains, do you need a special tool to crimp this lock washer onto the new tie-rod end?

all you gotta do is slide it on there, and then tighten...it will set itself
