Q for all swapped H22a HP4s (engine cover temp)
Hi, few days ago I got my engine swaped from H23a2 to H22a and I noticed one thing:
after doing some laps in city I have checked engine cover (valve cover) temp. and it was extremely hot.. you cant event put hand on it......
after ~1 hour of standing with engine off near my home, i checked again.. and it was still hot (there no external noises in engine yet) and even exhaust manifold cover was cold then....
I haven't got this problem with my old H23a ......
is it normal on JDM H22a engines? couse my friend checked on H22a2 and temp dif. were big...
sorry if q sounds l4m3 but I'm little bit paranoid after swap
thnkx

What the hell are you crying for? Do you want me to call the Waaambulance?
Who the hell wants to sit there hand on top of the engine after driving?........who the hell doesn't wear gloves while trying to work on a hot engine? Who the hell cares if your engine is hot? Who the hell doesn't have an engine thats hot after driving? Who the hell expects their engine to be room temperature after driving it? Who the hell in Lituania owns a prelude - you i guess. Who the hell thinks this is a technical thread?
Point: Wear gloves.
I still want to know why the hell you want to use the engine as an arm rest after doing laps around the city...........?........make sure your fans are coming on. it doesn't overheat does it?
