Just curious but what's wrong with something that is forged?

forged > cast

Forged wheels are stronger than cast, and thus can be lighter than cast wheels. I don't really like the polished look, but they look like a good, light wheel IMO

I think he means that they're inexpensive so there might be something wrong with them.

A good friend of mine (0psi on here) had those in 17's on his coupe. They looked insanely sick and were a lot more than that when he bought his. A lot of people said they were chrome which I hated cause they look nothing like chrome wheels. I wanted a set, but was unsure of how they'd look on VSM.

Here's a pic of the 17's he had sorry for the big pic, but I didn't feel like resizing. It's not the greatest quality either, but you get the point.

i know that forged wheels are stronger (usually) but some people complain about ssr comps cracking so i was wondering if anyone cracked a set.

He's had so many sets of wheels it's not even funny, but that's the best one I have of his car with those wheels. It's a different color red now and has black w/ polished lip 16" FN01R-C's
