Default 92 Prelude Si Header Questions

I've posted this same question at PO and HP with not much help, hoping you guys can help me out. This is a bit long but please bear with me.

I read an article in HCI, Hot Compact and Imports, magazine about the Hedman Chikara Stepped Hedder with its Powerplus reversion chambers. The article claims: "...notable performance gains that are measurable, this award winning design appears to be a resounding success with those looking for the edge in a strong field of hot compacts and imports."

They go on to say: "To realize these often elusive improvements, the Powerplus headers offer many unique features, including stepped primary tubes that are, in part, key to the capability of this design, which incorporates two sizes of primary tubes. To expand on what was said earlier, the intent of is to improve the airflow at lower speeds while offsetting the effects of reversion, as well as backpressure at higher engine speeds. In back-to-back testing with competetive designs that do not incorporate the Hedman Chikara characteristics, this header showed marked improvements while broadening the torque curve."

Sound like B.S. or might be true?
Anybody have any experience with them?
Do the DC Sports 4-2-1's "broaden the torque curve" or do they just add to the top end?

The Hedman Chikara boasts 3/8 inch flanges, 16 gauge steel and stepped primary tubes. How do the DC Sports 4-2-1 stack up to that? So far I haven't found any specifics about the DC Sports can anyone point me to a site with that kind of info?

Everybody seems to recommend DC Sports 4-2-1 ceramic headers, other than price difference is there any reason to choose the ceramic over the stainless steel version?

I apologize for the length of this post and would appreciate any knowledgeable responses.

Thanks,
Michael

Default Re: 92 Prelude Si Header Questions (Hi Ho)

I think the anti-reversion properties in the chickara headers doesnt work as well as the way it is used in conjunction in a custom header, such as SMS or HYTECH. because o fthe nature of the mass production to keep down on costs, and lack of R&D. Also i dont think the primaries are big or long enough to offer any bigger gains over the DC headers. It may offer slight gains over them, but i think they are minimal. this is just my opinion though.
