just a heads up -> i ordered a carsound/mangaflow 2.25" cat from this place on ebay.

i posted payment last week. i thought i would at least get a tracking number by today, 3/22.

not only do i NOT get a tracking number, this guy never returns my emails (i really shoulda checked his feedback more carefully, as others are having same problems).

i finally write another email stating that i will leave a negative message and/or withdraw my payment.

BAM! i get a reply immediately, and here is what he writes (in bold and in what appears to be at least 48 font) ;

"HEY BOY GENIUS YOU BOUGHT IT 3 BUSINESS DAYS AGO, IT TAKES MINIUM 6 BUSINESS DAYS TO GET TO CA FROM TN. LOOK AT THE TRACKING NUMBER WE ALREADY SENT YOU."

still, no tracking # was included in this professional reply.

i had to contact ups to get it.

i am sure i'll get my product (god knows when) but none of my fellow honda-tech members, esp prelude owners, need to deal with such a low-life of a vendor.

just a fyi for those of you looking for aftermkt cats.

 

Good heads up. Theres too many reputable sellers you can give your money to. Nobody should have to deal with smart *** people like that.

 

Yea this guy needs to build up better customer service skills. As a buyer you shouldn't get a responce like that. Hopefully you get the cat, and I guess thats all that counts.

well, i really wanted to post it here because i care most about the other prelude owners.

and yeah, i don't think i'll leave any feedback. i already left him a negative feedback in my mind by posting about my experience here.

I think it b/s when you buy something and YOU dont recieve feedback until you leave it for them just so they can hit you back if you leave them a negative.

IMO feedback should be left immediately after you send payment as your end of the deal is done. Then if they screw you over you can hit them with the negative.

 

If anything you could leave a neutral feedback saying how thier customer service was below average but yous just happy that you recieved your product.

i bought on ebay becuz i'm not in a rush. my big complaint is not about the speed of this seller..it's his lack of professionalism.
