replacement fairings?

replacement fairings?
My bud's thinking about buying a 1990 katana for about $1300, trouble is that the fairings are in pretty bad shape (though the bikes runs reasonably well). I'm guessing the dealers wont be carrying fairings for a ten year old bike, so where would be a good place to look (besides ebay)?

Personally I think 1300 for a beat up 16 year old bike, ecspecially a kat n tuna is a little much.
If you think a bout it you can get a 2000-2001 sv650 for around 3k. Or even a 2002-2004 250ex for 2k or less.
