1998 Civic EX/Type R Hybrid
What do you guys think?
I am thinking about buying a 1998 Civic EX that has had an entire Type R drivetrain installed. From the motor, tranny, brakes, ECU, everything. It is a VERY clean car. Also has an entire Prothane bushing kit, brand new Tokico 5-ways, Eibach springs, 3 sets of wheels in cluding a set of slicks, 2 new carbon hoods, and a lot more.
I have driven this car on several occasions as the present owner is one of my best friends. I have raced in it too. The thing is a dream.
He is asking $15,900 from everyone else, but would sell it to me for $13k.
Good investment?

No, A car like that is not an "investment". But yes if your looking for something fun.
15k for a `98 civic?
honestly at the end of a day its just a civic......this coming from a civic owner
save that cash, add some more and find yourself a `98 or so ITR, which chances are wont have been ragged on as much as this ex/hybrid
good luck bro
