94 Accord, Front Lower Ball Joint Removal.
I want to replace the lower ball joint on a 94 Accord. The boot is torn and was making the car suspension squeeky, so I figure I should replace the joint being the grease wasn't all in there.
So, I need to remove the ball joint from the knuckle. Do I need a Press for this? Or a vice/socket trick? or can I just tap it out with a hammer? I've replaced one on a Civic earlier and Just tapped it out with a hammer, I think I heated the knuckle with a torch too.
Anyone able just to knock it out of the knuckle with just a hammer?
And I'm not talking about removing the joint from the LCA.
Thanks!
